SONGS: INFINITIVE AND GERUNDS. The Lazy Song - Bruno Mars Lyrics

Song: The Lazy Song
By: Bruno Mars

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone
So leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything.

Uh!
I'm gonna kick my feet up
Then stare at the fan
Turn the TV on, throw my hand in my pants
Nobody's gonna tell me I can't

I'll be lounging on the couch,
Just chillin' in my snuggie
Click to MTV, so they can teach me how to dougie
'Cause in my castle I'm the freaking man

Oh, yes I said it
I said it
I said it 'cause I can

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone
So leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything

Nothing at all!
Ooh, hoo, ooh, hoo, ooh, ooh-ooh
Nothing at all
Ooh, hoo, ooh, hoo, ooh, ooh-ooh

Tomorrow I'll wake up, do some P90X
Meet a really nice girl, have some really nice sex
And she's gonna scream out: 'This is Great' (Oh my God, this is great!)
Yeah

I might mess around, and get my college degree
I bet my old man will be so proud of me
But sorry pops, you'll just have to wait
Haha

Oh, yes I said it
I said it
I said it 'cause I can

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone
So leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything

No, I ain't gonna comb my hair
'Cause I ain't going anywhere
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
I'll just strut in my birthday suit
And let everything hang loose
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Ooh
Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone
So leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything

Nothing at all
Ooh, hoo, ooh, hoo, ooh, ooh-ooh
Nothing at all
Ooh, hoo, ooh, hoo, ooh, ooh-ooh
Nothing at all

SONGS: 2ND CONDICIONAL. Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven
Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?
I'll find my way through night and day
'Cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven
Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees
Time can break your heart, have you begging please, begging please
Beyond the door there's peace I'm sure
And I know there'll be no more tears in heaven

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven

SONG: PASSIVE VOICE. Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) (Official Video)

Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas,
Everybody's looking for something.
Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused.
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something
Hold your head up
Keep your head up, movin' on
Hold your head up, movin' on
Keep your head up, movin' on
Hold your head up
Keep your head up, movin' on
Hold your head up, movin' on
Keep your head up, movin' on
Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused.
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something

The house was painted yesterday. (La casa fue pintada ayer)

1. El auxiliar TO BE :
Al ser la primera parte del verbo en voz pasiva, es la parte que vamos a conjugar:
Present Simple:  am, is, are (every week, regularly, often, etc)
Present Progressive: is being (at the momento, now, this month).
Past Simple :  was/were (yesterday).
Past Progressive:  was being (yesterday at 10 o’clock).
Present Perfect : has  been  (recently, in my life).
Past Perfect : had been (before something was done).
Future “will”:  will be (tomorrow, next week, etc)
Modal verb: should be, can be, could be, must be, have or has to be

2. El participio pasado.

Forma:
EJEMPLOS:
Present Simple: The house IS painted every year.
Present Progressive: The house is being painted today.
Past Simple : The house was painted yesterday.
Past Progressive: The house was being painted yesterday at 10 o’clock.
Present Perfect : The house has already been painted.
Past Perfect : When I arrived, the house had been painted.
Future “will”: The house will be painted next month.
Modal verb: The house must be painted next weekend.

UNIT 5- PASSIVE VOICE

Active and Passive forms

Active

We usually use active forms when we speak. They are all the forms we have seen so far (Unit Starter to 5)
Active (Simple Forms)
Simple Presentlive in Spain now
Simple Pastlived in India when I was a child
Will futurewill live in other countries in the future
Present perfectI have lived in many countries in my life.
Future Perfectwill have lived in ten countries before I retire
Conditionalwould live in more countries if I had time
Conditional Perfectwould have lived in Spain before, but I didn't know it

Passive

Pasive forms are often used when we want to give importance to the object of the sentence.
Example: We paint the walll every year -- The wall is painted every year.

Ejemplo:
The little boys are dressed every morning = Los niños pequeños son vestidos todas las mañanas o se viste a los niños pequeños todas las mañanas.
Passive (Simple Forms)
Simple PresentThe wall is painted every year.
Simple PastThis portrait was painted by a famous painter.
Will-futureThe living room will be painted soon.
Present PerfectThe room has been painted recently
Past PerfectThe house had been painted before we arrived.
Future PerfectThe house will have been painted by the end of the week.
